Game Play
How it Works
This is the name your players will try to guess. While a game board only allows 6 tries, players can replay as many times as they'd like until they win.
This determines the name length players can guess. Player's can guess any name that fits on the board. When a name with the correct length is guessed, remaining guessable rows will reduce to the correct name length.
Board Length Examples:
4-Letter Board
Must guess exactly "ALEX"
6-Letter Board
Can guess "ALEXIS", "Caleb", etc.
Understanding the color-coded feedback system
Blue / Pink = Correct Letter, Correct Position
This letter is in the secret name and in the right spot!
Orange = Correct Letter, Wrong Position
This letter is in the secret name but in a different position.
Grey = Letter Not in Name
This letter is not in the secret name at all.
Example Game Play
Let's say the secret name is "ALEX" on a 6-letter board:
Result: A and L are in the name and in the right spot. E is in the name but wrong position (orange)
Result: Perfect match! All letters correct (blue/pink)
